How to Fix 404 Page Not Found in Shopify

Feb 15, 2021

In this video, I show you how to fix 404 errors in three different ways in your Shopify store.

1. 404 error page not found
2. Sold out product
3. Bulk upload redirects

Sadly, a lot of e-commerce store owners delete pages not knowing that they have to redirect the page after they've deleted it. If you don't do this, it will create a broken link also known as a 404 error page.

Basically, if a page on your website, returns a 404 error code, it means it doesn't exist, so Google and other search engines will not index it. The links that contain the URLs pointing to 404s will hurt your SEO because it creates a bad experience for your site visitors. Google doesn't like this!

If you want to check to see if your site has any 404 error pages, you can easily check in Google Search Console. Google Search Console is a free tool offered by Google that helps you monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot your site's presence in Google. The good news is, I have a video on how to connect your Shopify store to Search Console
